Majority of 2011 kcpe candidates will be selected to the district schools and many may be disapointed. A good percentage will miss out on the selection and to them education may have come to an abrupt end.

There reknown private schools that will be openning their doors to selected students and parents who may afford to pay a given a mount of school fees. Some of these private schools perform as good as National schools and top provincial schools. It is however very tricky on how to select a private school to match with the value for money.

It is advisable that one should apply to these private school and make adequate enquiry to ensure that you get all your facts right. The first odetail ofcourse will be the amount of school fees payable per year to ensure that you can afford. Second to go through their list of facilities to be sure that your child will getting quality education and at the same time his/her stay in the school will be comfortable and safe.

The qulaity of education offered in a school will be determined by the academic facilities available, the status qualification and retention of teachers, the school plan on teaching and learning resources including textbooks and library. You will also want your childs talents to be exploited and improved including games, sports, music, drama, debating and socialization. The spiritual needs of your child is not something you will want to gamble with and a good counseling plan should on the menu of the school system.

Past academic and discipline history of the school may help you make an informed decision. Though you pay money to the Director of the school, it is the teachers who are responsible for taking care of your child. And so so you may wish to establish the relationship between the Directors and the teaching staff to ensure it is sound and that teachers are not a frustrated lot.

The task of securing the best school for you child is nothing to rush about but again dont be too slow as to miss a place in your dream school. Shulebora.com wishes all parents and students a fruitful task of selecting their choice schools.
